About the business I am selling
My business is one of building large quality homes for private clients. The homes are individual and built to the highest specifications to ensure client satisfaction. The image below is an example of what we build:
We have been established for 12 years and our success is based upon our ability to manage the entire process of planning and building a new home which includes:
- Buying suitable land at competitive prices
- Designing homes to be luxurious but affordable and ‘livable’
- Securing planning permission
- Drawing up plans both for initial planning and then in great detail for the build
- Costing and quantifying
- Building – and most importantly managing the various contractors and overall project
We have established our brand and reputation by ensuring that we have proper controls and processes in place to make sure that our builds come in to plan, to cost and to time.
The Financials
My business turns over approx £1m and I make an adjusted profit of £228k. I am happy to share with you the adjustments.

The office is run by 3 permanent staff and on site there are two permanent employees, with two self employed contractors and approx 15 regular subcontractors.
The business systems that we have developed are also included in the sale and are of great benefit to any potential purchaser whether already in or outside of the industry.
The legacy of my business is important to me and so I am prepared to provide a handover to the buyer to ensure success.
